Applications for assistance will be considered if:

You are a resident of Pennsylvania and your primary residence is in Lackawanna, Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna, or Wayne County.

Your pet needs non-routine, non-urgent veterinary care. This can include , but is not limited to:​

Cancer​ Treatment
-
Chronic Illness/Disease Care

Heart Disease Treatment
-
One-time surgeries (not including spaying & neutering)

Your pet has already been seen by a licensed veterinarian and you can provide:

A clear diagnosis​

A treatment plan with a good prognosis

An estimated cost of care

You can show documentation of financial need

Your most recent tax return​
-
Your 2 most recent paystubs or an SSA award letter

Please note:

If your pet is in need of emergency care, please visit your local animal hospital

Grants are not guaranteed, and if approved, will be paid directly to your veterinarian

We do not provide reimbursements for prior treatment
-
We do not provide assistance for routine care, vaccinations, spaying, or neutering.
